Natural Response Horsemanship Clinic with Bob and Lorna Burns Nov. 16th & 17th, 2002
Bob, and his wife, Lorna have learned to use the techniques of RAY HUNT (Ray Hunt changed the relationship of horse & rider from a battle for dominance to a dance of gentleness, communication and mutual trust.)  TOM DORRANCE (Tom is the horseman’s horseman, although he looks like the cowboy from next door, he has been referred to as the patron saint of horses. He has been sought by many horses owners for his kinder, much proven training techniques) and KEVIN WESCOTT (a kindness trainer from Nebraska who trained under master horsemen Ray Hunt & Tom Dorrance.
For 13 years, Bob and Lorna have been using these methods working with horses, and teaching people. Fostering a better communication between horse and rider is what they’re about. All participants, regardless of discipline, benefited from their experience
The first day was 'in hand' work, developing boundaries and space between horse and rider, as well as building trust and confidence. The second day was under saddle, developing a lightness in the bridle and yielding to pressure. By the end of the 2nd day ALL participants were able to get there horse confidently thru all obstacles INCLUDING a MOVING bridge that teetered on a pole!!!  Truly an incredible weekend!!!

These photo's are from the 1st Natural Response Clinic held at Harmony Equestrian Center on November 16th & 17th 2002.
